Kirsten has worked in voluntary sector policy for 15 years, influencing Scottish Government policy and legislation relating to children and families, learning disability, social care and voluntary sector funding. Kirsten’s love of the theatre came from trips with her parents to the National Youth Music Theatre and the Singing Kettle, and her search for the buzz of the arts led her to spend her university holidays working in the Edinburgh Fringe. One of the highlights of her career has been combining her professional skills with her personal passion working as part of a team that set up a theatre-based participation event for care experienced young people.
