Charlotte Allan

Associate Artist - Creative Skills

Charlotte is a theatre maker who produces work for children under the age of 5 and their adults under the name Ipdip Theatre. She is interested in play and playfulness in performance and out. She has worked in Scottish theatre for over ten years as a writer, performer, director, tutor and youth theatre artist. Her other passions in life include trees, climbing, and going on adventures with her two young children.

Greg Sinclair

Associate Artist

Greg Sinclair is an award-winning musician and live artist.

He makes children’s theatre with two clear aims: he starts with a musical idea, and he collaborates with children to make his work. His performance ‘Sonata for a Man and a Boy’ was the winner of the 2013 Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland award for Best Production for Children and Young People. His solo piece ‘I Do, Do I’ has been performed at festivals across the UK. Greg is the recipient of the 2016 Children’s Theatre Fellowship from The Arts Foundation.

Hazel Darwin-Clements

Associate Artist

Hazel Darwin-Edwards is an Associate Artist with Starcatchers and he has worked on several projects and residencies with them as a theatre maker, performer and puppeteer. She co-led the Expecting Something pilot with parents under 25 and their babies, and also delivered workshops across Scotland for adults who work with Early Years as part of the Creative Skills Programme. Before that she co-led the Nickum residency in Aberdeen with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. She has created and performed several shows with Starcatchers including Hup, Too Many Cooks, The Forgotten Forest, The Attic and Round in Circles. Hazel is also lucky enough to have worked with many other great theatre companies in Scotland including Frozen Charlotte, Catherine Wheels, Visible Fictions, Strange Town and The National Theatre of Scotland.

Heather Fulton

  Heather had previously explored creating theatre for very young children before joining Starcatchers as a resident artist on the Pilot Project. Since her residency, she has gone on to create a number of productions through her own company Frozen Charlotte including Paperbelle and Too Many Penguins.

Kim Donohoe is a Scottish theatre maker, performer and facilitator. Her work is based in devised contemporary theatre and performance experiences and workshops, most often for children. Marion Geoffray

Marion Geoffray is a freelance performer, creative practitioner and theatre maker. She is also the artistic director of Theatre Sans Accents, an innovative bilingual theatre company in Edinburgh which promotes language learning through the arts to children and adults as well as producing original pieces of theatre by bilingual artists.
For the past 5 years she’s been actively working with early years looking specifically at language development (both non-verbal and bilingual) as well as relationships dynamics between parents and children within the context of sensory play. With Starcatchers since early 2018, she’s enjoyed sharing her passion for props and costumes with ES participants as well as celebrating wee ones and empowering parents through messy play and storytelling.
Currently developing a new piece in collaboration with her ES group at Lochgelly, “Les Doigts”, about non-verbal communication from the perspective of an 18 month old.

Pearl Kinnear is a Glasgow based artist who comes from a painting background, but works in a variety of mediums. Her work is often made in response to an event, global or local, using imagery as a contemplative method to examine and explore, the play on words in titles adds an illustrative quality to some of the work.
